This year happens to be the centenary year since Ramanujan getting elected as the Royal Society (RS) Fellow (February 28th, 1918) at a very young age of 31 in the year 1918.
Srinivasa Ramanujan also happened to be the second RS fellow of Indian Origin to be elected, and the first individual in his field for his extraordinary contributions to Mathematics.
